The DEC and OFA joined forces last weekend and had one of the most successful 'day of action' events ever. The event was the brainchild of DEC member and OFA Fellow, Annette Bodie. She was expertly supported by long-serving DEC volunteers and OFA Neighborhood Team Captains, Ingrid Fluellen and Pat Turrentine (all three of District 1). Nearly 40 volunteers made over 1050 phone calls and registered new voters on Saturday, July 14. Phone-banking was done out of DEC HQs on Beach Blvd and voter registration was held at the University Park Branch library in Arlington.
Thanks to these ladies, the Party is energized, fired up and ready to win!
